A friend sent me this link, a link to the Detroit Project. A site that is against people driving SUVs. I think they are trying to do a good thing, but at the same time I think that they are deliverying the wrong message. After seeing the ads with a couple of co-workers, I feel like all eyes were on me as soon as the ads finished showing because I am a part-time SUV driver myself (My brother owns a SUV). And I realized how this ad is demonizing me for being a SUV driver, and not really about saving gas. The focus is so targetted to the SUV drivers which I don't understand, almost all the new benz sedans now a days have V8s in them which uses just as much gas as the SUVs if not more as most SUVs have V6 engines. And don't get me started on those sports cars. I mean those people that made the ads, at the end of the day, how do you think they get home? All types of transportation uses gas, the question is how much gas. They keep saying, how SUV drivers fund the terrorist, or how SUV drivers help hijack a plane. Believe it or not, we all are! Not just the SUV drivers. Any $1 spent on gas, a part of that ends up in terrorist's hands. Just because you take the bus or drive a small car doesn't mean you are not contributing to the "kill us all" fund. A. Huffington, YOU STUPID BITCH, SHUT THE FUCK UP!
