WHAT!? STUDY!? That defeats the whole purpose of the plant then.
It's not really bak gui feng shui. There's a young Chinese lady in it that speaks good English and bad Chinese, and an old Chinese guy from Berkeley with more bling bling around his neck than Mr. T. He must be raking in millions from feng shui seminars. He also provides private consulting, and probably charges thousands of dollars an hour. Most of the guests on the show are bak guis though, and it does look a little bit like a bad infomercial. I think it's still pretty informative though.
They have a Chinese tv show on KTSF Ch. 26 on the weekends I think, and they have segments on that Chiense radio station. I think it's station 1400. Your mom probably knows when they're on.
There's a lot of books and videos out these days on the subject of feng shui. Good websites on the other hand are pretty hard to come by. It seems like all of them are trying to make a dollar off you and don't give you any information unless you pay for it or buy something. I was trying to find one of those feng shui compasses that I could maybe print out before, but all I could find was compasses for sale.
