Exactly one week and two days of torture...

On June 5th around 8am, I had two wisdom teeth removed from the left side. One tooth was already out so the dentist said it will not be painful at all since all she'll be doing is placing a little pressure and it will pop out before I even know it. I was so numb from the anesthetic that I really didn't noticed much pain......so on she went with my second extraction. This one is a little more difficult since it was impacted and under the gums...as expected more anesthetic and more tools were needed for this extraction. I know she was cutting my gums and doing all these ... things just to get that wisdom out and let me tell u it was the most traumatizing thing that has ever happened to me. I even saw her pull threads to stitch me up. I don't know why I wasn't put to sleep??? Maybe because I only had two to extract??? Well anyway....

12:15pm --SUper DUPER pain has brought tears to my eyes and the Vicodin that I have taken did not do a thing for me

3:30 pm --Took two Motrin and the pain was slowly going away....

So I continued the same routine until the next day....

On June 6th I have continued my medication plus I have iced my face the whole day and GUESS WHAT?
My face was so swollen its unbelieveable. In the morning it was like the size of a "tennis ball" and by nite it was swelled down to my neck like the "nutty professor" (if u know what i mean). Horrible just horrible. So the boy and the girl went to the ER at Kaiser since we didn't know if it was puss developing under my chin??? Well I continued to ice my face when I got to the ER (june 7th, ams) and even when I was seeing the Doc....
Doc: continue your medication and the swelling will go away ...there is no puss
Cat: im still in a lot of pain and this swelling is making it more painful what should i do
Doc: you can take a vicodin with motrin...that should take away the pain
Cat: but my dentist said it would be very hard on my liver so she said i shouldnt be taking those
two together
Doc: its perfectly fine, I do it all the time, you should just take them together

Ok, so around 11am I called my dentist to make sure I was doing the right things and turns out I WAS NEVER SUPPOSE to ICE MY FACE after the first 10mins of my extraction...the icing caused irritation to my face....once again stupid doctors at Kaiser couldnt even tell me to stop icing the area!!!!

Around 4pm I took the Vicodin with Motrin and it has caused MAJOR NAUSEA!!! My face literally changed colors and I was so weak and my whole body was numb....I was just running back and forth to the toilet cuz I felt like I was going to barf any second...I try to deal with this....but it was just unbareable.
