It was hard to let go of my GTI, it's been 6 fun years! But it is time for a new love, meet my new friend R32!

haha you guys are funny, yea i can just imagine that you can get to work a lot faster since you have 4Motion and those grippy konig seats so that you can get maximum traction to and from work, oh yea dont forget the morning wake up calls too hehe

Thanks Galen, let's just say, I haven't been late to work since I got the car. Not that the car is a lot faster, it's just that I can't wait to drive it again :)

The R32 is a one time deal, for one year only, VW released 5000 R32s in the US. They are a totally different breed. The engine for one is bigger, the GTI's VR6 model is only a 2.8 liter engine, the R32 has a 3.2 Liter engine with 240 horses :)

The R32 is also All wheel drive (drive up to tahoe baby!), the GTI is front wheel drive.

The R32 is VW sports tuned, with all the sport add-ons, 18 inch wheels, sports suspension and sports bucket seats, body kit.

and some very cool features usually not in a sports car, ass warmer and rain sensor :)

I can go on and on, but I think you are already bored reading it. haha, so i'll stop here.

I guess the answer is this ...

My old GTI VR6 is a golf 3 model

The new R32 is using the same body as the Golf 4 model but that's about it, everything else in the car is different and body has been modified to look much more sportier. :)
