HAPPY 2004 LEAP YEAR!!! Just thought some of you might be interested in some facts....
The first leap year Q. When was the first leap year? (Anon)
The first leap year in the modern sense was 1752 when 11 days were 'lost' from the month September with the adoption of the Gregorian calendar by Britain and her colonies. After 1752 we adopted the system still in use today where an additional day is inserted in February in years wholly divisible by 4, other than years ending in 00 with the exception of those divisible by 400 which are still leap years (like 2000). This is certainly not the first use of leap years, the Julian calendar we used before 1752 had a simpler system of leap years, and remember, no calendar is universal.© NMM London

Hello All. As some of you that have kept up with my "Sucky Work Life Story" ...might know that I had applied for a job in Jan 2004. Well the results are here No job for CAT!!! They decided to hire someone that had 10yrs of ucsf admin experience instead of me because they feel like she would stay on the job for a longer period as oppose to me (too young) which might leave them at any time. I just hate this feeling...feel like such a failure =( That's the update for you guys. It's ok. I'll find a better job *_*
